INTERKOR VP 1026 is a liquid corrosion inhibitor and cleaner for plastification processes of plastic processing machines.

INTERKOR VP 1026 contains additives that initiate an extreme expansion in volume and thus ensure they clean the items and prevent rust. All the spaces of the plastification unit are treated and the corrosion protection covers the whole area.

INTERKOR VP 1026 produces a significant amount of foam. The related increase in pressure is caused by the expansion of volume in the limited space of the worm cylinder (filled with plastic granulate).

INTERKOR VP 1026 causes the material to escape quickly from the nozzle or open the hot channel and removes all scraps from the last injection of material.

Application:
1. Sufficient inhibition and cleaning requires a granulate volume between 1 and 10 times the volume of the cylinder depending on the tool. The granulate must be mixed without with about 1% INTERKOR VP 1026.

2. Degassing nozzles must be connected to the machine and the automatic feed system must be off.

3. The granulate quantity that is prepared is then introduced via the clean funnel into the worm cylinder, plastified and sprayed as it would be in a normal injection process. This thus performs the tasks of corrosion protection and cleaning.

4. The rest of the foamed INTERKOR granulate mixture is driven out by a small amount of granulate until only clean particles are sprayed out when the machine is restarted.
